The MARINE-SAT AzTrax is designed to provide years of reliable service in the marine environment. Some of the major highlights are:

- External components are constructed of UV-stabilized ABS, machined PVC and stainless steel and are completely sealed to the elements,
- Antenna quickly attaches to the base and can easily be removed for transit,
- Gimbaled, magneto-inductive compass to eliminate tracking error introduced by minor leveling or heeling errors,
- Belt drive mechanism consists of a variable speed motor (speed control is automatic) and an essentially backlash-free drive assembly,
- Cabling is fully tinned and stranded with connectors and fittings suited to the marine environment

Attention to detail doesn't end with the external components. Inside the cabin you'll find:

- System controller housed in a good-looking black enclosure,
- 4-digit LED display indicates heading, and by command, system operational status,
- Sensitivity can be adjusted to 8 different settings to optimize tracking performance for current conditions,
- All controls are via the included infrared remote and are similar to autopilot controls
